Dawn Nolan - Math
Dawn Nolan has been a Mathematics Teacher at Florida SouthWestern Collegiate High School – Charlotte campus, since it opened its’ doors to students in 2009. Dawn grew up nearby, graduating from Bishop Verot High School, then attending Dartmouth College where she majored in both Applied Math and Music. From there, she earned a Master of Business Administration as well as a Master of Science in Accounting degree from Northeastern University. After working for Ernst & Young in New Orleans, she was called back home to Florida to teach. In 2004, Dawn moved to Punta Gorda after marrying her husband, Jim. Dawn loves being part of the community of Charlotte County and enjoys raising her children, Josh, Eddie, Betty, Bobby, Annie, and Lucy, in the area. Dawn has enjoyed over 20 years of teaching math, science, and chorus at both the middle school and high school levels. She has completed 15 credit hours of graduate work in Mathematics at the University of Central Florida. Dawn is both grateful and proud to be a part of the FSWC family.
